      <description>&lt;span class="paragraphSection"&gt;Losartan potassium is an orally active, nonpeptide angiotensin II type 1 receptor antagonist that has recently been approved for the treatment of hypertension in many countries. Its adverse effects include dizziness, headache, hypotension, renal dysfunction, and hyperkalemia. Uncommon serious adverse events include stroke, worsening heart failure, unstable angina, and myocardial infarction.&lt;/span&gt;</description>
