Because several women with thyrotoxicosis in an endocrine clinic were also noted to have "idiopathic" galactorrhea, a retrospective analysis using two control populations was conducted to study the association of thyrotoxicosis and galactorrhea; comparison showed that the association was significant. This analysis suggests that thyrotoxicosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of the cause of galactorrhea.(Arch Intern Med 1984;144:2349-2350) SN - 0003-9926 M3 - doi: 10.1001/archinte.1984.00350220065014 UR - http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/archinte.1984.00350220065014 ER -
