The chapter on leukocyte antigen is the most detailed general account available on the subject.The book supplements Mollison's Blood Transfusion in Clinical Medicine; in most aspects it is much briefer, but at times it is more detailed. The book should be very valuable to the hematologist interested in immunohematology, blood bank personnel, and students in medical sciences. The illustrations are excellent and the writing skillful and lucid.
