Individual chapters are devoted to specific subjects, ie, "Potassium Chloride Induced Ulcer of the Small Bowel," or "Contraceptives in Cerebral Arterial Occlusion," "Fibrosis Associated With Methsergide Therapy," and many others. Discussions are succinct, authoritative, and comprehensive. Bibliography following each chapter is reasonably current and complete. Index is sparse, perhaps the only weak area of the book. This is a splendid review of this most fascinating area of iatrogenesis.
