N2  - This volume is the third instalment of Naegeli's work on differential diagnosis. The febrile diseases and diseases of the joints, esophagus, heart, kidneys, nervous system and internal secretory glands are discussed. The book is beautifully illustrated and contains a mine of useful material. To the reviewer, however, it seems that differential diagnosis does not lend itself well to treatment as an independent subject; in fact, much of the matter given here is simply a duplication of what is found in general textbooks of medicine.
