I thank Wong for his letter, and I concur. I would like to add that not only are such Letters to the Editor important as he describes, but it is equally important that they be indexed and easily retrievable. This is especially important for literature published in journals outside the United States, where much of the herbal, medicinal work has heretofore been published (beginning in 2000, the Journal of Herbal Pharmacotherapy will be published in the United States).
