The pain resolved, and an electrocardiogram showed normal sinus rhythm and a normal axis. Neither the electrocardiogram nor the cardiac enzyme levels showed evidence of myocardial infarction, and the findings of a dipyridamole stress test were interpreted as normal, without evidence of significant coronary artery disease.
