It deals with advances in the treatment of acute (blastic) leukemia as presented at the plenary session of the European Organization for Research on Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) in 1969. This group, comprised of a number of European medical centers, is actively engaged in basic cancer research, drug development, and collaborative clinical research.
