AB This is a remarkable compendium which seeks to blaze a trail through the "present day jungle of multiple congenital defects" by using facial anomalies associated with neurologic defects as a tool. Neurologist Aita has sorted out approximately 70 clinical categories replete with 392 photographs which dramatize the anomalies, often with startling vividness. It is an eponymist's delight (nightmare?). Sixty-four pages of current bibliography complement this unusual volume.
