Of the 304 articles in this edition, 257 are new; those carried over have been carefully revised. It is books such as this, Modell's Drugs of Choice, and The Medical Letter, which make the hue and cry concerning the lack of available drug information rather meaningless. It is all here, spelled out in detail.You may quibble with one recommendation or another, but you are reading the words of the experts.The admonition of the Preface has not been modified since 1968; I still cannot believe that the anonymous "manufacturers' recommendations for dosage" should be given more credence than Conn's cadre of hand-picked therapists.
