Twelve essayists present nine subjects. Editor Leopold says, "The material has been kept practical, fundamental, and timely." Antibiotics, anesthetic agents, hyperosmotic agents, glaucoma management, and corticosteroids are subjects of discussion. It is a comprehensive review.
