AB FOREIGN LANGUAGE REVIEWSThis paper-bound volume is the latest in a series of reviews about various aspects of pulmonary diseases that have been published since 1930. It contains four articles, each of about 40 pages: "Pulmonary Fibrosis," "Pulmonary Infarction," "Status of Tuberculosis in Switzerland, With Recommendations for Preventive Measures," and "Late Sequellae and Permanent Damage From Malnutrition in Regard to Tuberculosis." The articles are well prepared, and each has an extensive, up-to-date, international bibliography.The reviewer found the last article, about the relationship of malnutrition to tuberculosis, most interesting, particularly as an historical note on World War II. The tuberculosis rates in German prisoner of war camps, of prisoners who were repatriated from Soviet and Anglo-American captivity, and of concentration-camp inmates are assembled and analyzed.
