AB This little paperback volume is an attempt to summarize in a simplified and concise fashion some modern concepts of energy metabolism. It is designed to appeal to a limited audience of medical students and other graduate students in biological fields who want a treatise with more information than is contained in conventional textbooks.I think the treatise succeeds in its objective of reviewing the field of energy metabolism in terms of modern molecular biology. The printing is well done and the numerous illustrations are clear.
