S. Auster. J.A.M.A. 175:946, 1961.I well remember the feeling of excited anticipation with which I heard of Trauma and Disease. But when I began to look through the massive tome and to read some of the other 129 contributions, I felt less certain of the honor. The editors are two pathologists from Western Reserve University, inspired by a mission to teach the world that nearly all diseases are self-sufficient
