AB The nonprofit corporation which publishes the Annual Review of Medicine continues to do a remarkably good job of selecting topics for presentation. Reading or browsing through this volume brings one abreast of many of the recent developments in each field chosen for review. This year the editor has chosen well the topics for discussion and appears to have selected competent authorities to do the reviewing. Of particular value to the practicing physician are sections on fungal infections, sarcoidosis, chemotherapy of neoplastic disease, and the vestibular system and its disorders. Subject in the field of neurology and psychiatry also are included and are of general interest. This book is recommended for anyone active in the field of internal medicine.
