    Symposium on Age Changes in Connective Tissue to Be Held October 31.— 
    An informal symposium on "Age Changes in Connective Tissue and Their Clinical Implications" will be held at the New York Academy of Medicine Building on Oct. 31, 1961, under the auspices of the Institute of Geriatrics of the Home and Hospital and the Daughters of Jacob. The symposium will be divided into two sessions: the morning session will deal with "Biology and Physiology of Connective Tissue" and will be chaired by Dr. Nathan W. Shock, Chief, Gerontology Branch, Department Health, Education and Welfare. The afternoon session "Clinical Implication". will be chaired by Victor McKusick, Professor of Medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.Symposium on Obesity and Adolescence.— 
    A symposium on obesity and adolescence will be sponsored by the Council on Foods and Nutrition of the American Medical Association in Stanford, Calif., on Oct. 21. It was the
