The course will consist of ten lectures by Dr. Edith H. Quimby, Associate Professor of Radiology, Columbia University, on physics as it pertains to ionizing radiations. Emphasis will be placed on the basic principles and their application to problems of therapy. The course wll be of particular interest to radiologists, dermatologists and gynecologists.The University of California has also scheduled a course in the medical aspects of nuclear energy, to be given from August 29 through September 3.
