AB The author presents in this volume the theoretic and practical principles of therapeutic application of the short wave current. The text is divided into two parts. Part I, consisting of five chapters, is devoted to fundamental considerations, and Part II, containing three chapters, to clinical considerations.Chapter I is devoted to the history of the development of the short wave current and is concise and clear. Chapter II, which deals with the physics of the short wave current, was written by a physicist familiar with the medical requirements of short wave therapy. This is a valuable contribution to the volume from the point of view of the average physician, as many of the mysteries of the mode of action of short wave therapy are cleared up.The third chapter deals with the determination of temperature in the living human being.
