AB The purpose of this small book is to give to the average physician a bird's-eye view of the rapidly developing field of vitamins. To write a concise review of a new and expanding field of science is an extremely difficult and nearly impossible task, since apparent and well established facts may become obsolete in a short time. The authors have done well in presenting this complicated subject in such a compact and simple manner. In many instances, seemingly dogmatic statements are made, obviously to carry the reader over a vast and contested experimental field. In discussing the therapeutic application of vitamin therapy the writers mention many instances in which reported benefits are based on only 1 or more case reports, and such statements may be misleading if one is not acquainted with the literature on the particular subject.In all, this book should be very useful for one who wishes
