AB This is the second edition of this laboratory manual which was first published for the use of the interns and students in the Massachusetts General Hospital. It contains the usual procedures for routine laboratory work, and in addition has chapters briefly discussing special diagnostic procedures and the technic of the common therapeutic measures used in the hospital. The book is not intended to cover the material exhaustively, but to describe briefly how to carry out the different procedures quickly and accurately. The book accomplishes its purpose.
