The book concerns chiefly the diagnosis and treatment of about 100 of the most common diseases coming within the province of internal medicine. It is what it claims to be: a practical discussion of ordinary diagnosis and treatment, in which etiology and pathology receive little consideration. It will probably be welcomed by many practitioners.
