This is especially noteworthy because outcomes from cardiac arrests have remained unchanged for almost 50 years.2 Their meta-analysis has demonstrated a reduction in cardiac arrest rates of approximately one-third in both children’s and adult hospitals. This clear reduction is beyond that of any other intervention to date.
