Error in Abstract. In the Original Investigation titled “Proton Pump Inhibitors and Risk for Recurrent Clostridium difficile Infection” by Linsky et al, published in the May 10 issue of the Archives (2010;170[9]:772-778), an error occurred in the abstract on page 772. In the Results section of the Abstract, the last sentence should have read, “Risks among exposed patients were highest among those older than 80 years (HR, 1.86; 95% CI, 1.15-3.01) and those receiving antibiotics not targeted to C difficile during follow-up (HR, 1.71; 95% CI, 1.11-2.64).”
