Results suggest that future physicians of America feel strongly about expanding access to the uninsured. But the study also unearths a disturbing truth—that medical students don't feel they know that much about the ACA. Therefore, if we are to truly become game changers in health reform, moving beyond simply supporting the legislation, medical students will need to harness new understanding of health policy, best achieved by empowering and changing medical education in this area.
