AB Of forty cases of supposed diabetes received at U. S. Army General Hospital No. 9, the following three proved to belong to the class of so-called "renal glycosuria." It was not possible under the circumstances to carry out a comprehensive research, and the observed facts are merely recorded as an addition to existing descriptions of the condition.REPORT OF CASES 
    Case 1.1 
    —Private, infantry, American, 26 years of age, was admitted Nov. 1, 1918.Family History. 
    —The father died at the age of 78 from arteriosclerosis and apoplexy. The mother was drowned at the age of 65. Five brothers and one sister are alive and well. No inheritable disease is known to exist.Personal History. 
    —Patient had measles in childhood. He denies venereal or other diseases. Occasionally he drinks a glass of beer or wine; uses tobacco moderately. He has a normal figure. He has the average habits in diet.
