• It has become appreciated that drug levels of proca[ill] mide hydrochloride needed to suppress inducible ventricu[ill] tachycardia by programmed ventricular stimulation exc[ill] the previously published therapeutic range. Cerebellar at[ill] developed acutely in a patient receiving high-dose proca[ill] mide. This was associated with a marked increase in the se[ill] drug level. Resolution occurred within three days after d[ill] therapy was discontinued.
