Dr Linaker's comments are much appreciated. He has not only pointed out an important discrepancy in my statements about vitamin C absorption, but he has also contributed valuable information in regard to this matter. In the article, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) should have been grouped with the vitamins absorbed by passive diffusion.
