ABSTRACT

This is an incredibly lucid translation of a text originally written in French by Professor Henry Tillier. It is unique insofar as there is not a single radiographic reproduction; superbly simple line diagrams illustrate all key points. The first chapters on radiological optics represent the clearest presentation of this subject yet encountered. Each anatomic area is presented in great detail, including contrast radiography. Discussions of angiography are sparse. However, this is a fascinating review of anatomy as seen by a skilled radiologist and interpreted by a knowledgeable anatomist. Bibliography is limited to selected footnotes. About three-quarters of the text is devoted to the skeletal system. This is not intended as a definitive textbook of radiological anatomy.
