This book contains the proceedings of "The Symposium on Cancer Therapy by Integrated Radiation and Operation" held at the University of Kentucky on Sept 9, 1966. Twentyfour chapters contributed by 40 authors cover the basic experimental background of combined therapy. Virtues and debits of integrated therapy are debated anatomic site by site. Discussions are forthright, based on sound, controlled studies. This represents a worthwhile contribution to the burgeoning literature on treatment of cancer.
