Third Annual Conference on Operable Heart Disease.—  This conference will take place at Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco on March 3 and 4, 1961. Those interested may obtain further information by writing to the Conference Chairman, Dr. Frank Gerbode.

Fellowship Offered.—  A research fellowship in clinical cardiovascular physiology in the Department of Medicine of the University of Southern California School of Medicine is available. The appointment is to be for a period of 1 to 2 years. Emphasis is on physiological investigation in patients and in animals for study of hemodynamic mechanisms of cardiovascular disease.
